AshtaVinayak Darshan

Hi Friends,
   Here I want to share my expereince of AsthaVinayak darshan. 
As many people have concerns regarding where exactly 'Ashtavinayak' is located, how to reach there, by what means, Etc.,
    The Ashtavinayaka yatra covers eight holy temples of Ganesha which are situated around Pune. Each of these temples has its own individual legend and history, as distinct from each other as the murtis in each temple.
   Presently I am located at Pune, From Pune there is a packaged Trip for 'AshtaVinayak Darshan' available from Prasanna Travels.

    Its a two day Package (From Pune)with Food and Accomodation (Food includes Morning Breakfast + Tea, Afternoon Lunch, Evening Tea, Night Dinner), Total Distance covered is around 750 Kms.

Day1:

  The bus starts sharply at 7:00AM from Shanivarwada branch to First Ganapati 'Moreshwar' of Morgaon 65Kms from Pune.  We reached Moregaon at 9:30AM, there is one guide available in bus who will be explaining about the Way, the Place & Importance of temples.  Before getting down from the bus, the guide explains about the Temple, time duration, after darshan where to assemble for breakfast.

   We completed 1st Ganapati darshan 'Moreshwar', Breakfast & Tea by 11:00AM.

   From 'Moregaon' we started towards 'Siddhatek' for SiddhiVinayak Darshan at 11.00AM.  By 12:30PM we reached 'Siddhatek' around 65Kms, Completed Darshan with Aarati & Lunch around 2:00PM.

    At 2:00pm we started from 'Siddatek' to 'Theur' for 'Shri Chintamani' Darshan around 100kms (Its just 22kms from Pune).  Reached 'Theur' at 4:00pm Completed Darshan and started towards 'Ranjangaon' for 'Shri MahaGanapathi' Darshan at 5:00pm for around 70Kms.

     Around 6:00pm reached 'Ranjangaon' completed 'Shri Mahaganapati' darshan/Evening Snacks & Tea and started towards 'Lenyadri' at around 7:15pm.

  Reached 'Lenyadri' around 10:30pm A beautiful place on Hill range with full of clouds and cool wind, there we were provided Accomodation (6 Persons per room), Completed dinner (One of the delicious Buffet) at around 11:30 pm and went back to our respective rooms for sleep and wakeup early in the morning for 'Shri Girijatmaj' Darshan.
   By this we have completed 4 Ganapati Darshan in our First day and halted at 'Lenyadri' at Night.

Day2:
           On Second day we woke up at 5:00Am by 6:30Am got ready and started towards 'Girijatmaj Temple' of Lenyadri.  This is the only temple among Ashtavinayak which is situated on the hill, the temple is carved out of a single stone hill, which has 307 steps. There are Palki walas available to Carry persons like Old/physically challenged people, they charge around Rs.400 for To & Fro.
